This journal is for a hard stretch of life: illness, your own or someone else's, caring for someone, burnout, money worries or loneliness. Each day offers a short passage from the Bible, the Christian holy book, often from the Psalms, its book of prayers and songs, with one honest question and one tiny, gentle practice. It is meant to sit alongside the care and support you already have, never instead of it. You do not need to know the Bible, believe anything in particular or belong to a church to begin.
